eli

this little man has had such a tough start…and his newborn session was a pretty emotional one. eli was born about 10 weeks premature(correct me if i’m off there, mom). but the heartbreaking part of his story is twin brother, ethan, passed away in utero due to twin to twin transfusion syndrome.  during his session, there were lots of tears and smiles and gentle hugs. mom was trying to explain to me how hard it is to be grieving for one child and thankful for the other…balancing those emotions must be overwhelming. she is one amazing woman, and i am in awe of her strength.

eli slept and slept for me, he was a dream! and when he needs to yawn, his whooooole body yawns…so cute!
