so yes, i have completely fallen behind on blogging. so sorry to those who stop by and find nothing new to see. summer is in full swing and i have so many sessions that i haven’t shared yet…will try to get back to a regular blogging routine. for now, i’ll just share a mish-mosh of favorite images from recent sessions, most of these have already seen their galleries and purchased their images.

but that baby should be coming any day now! this couple, what can i say, they go together like milk and cookies. absolutely so in tune to one another, i think they are going to be amazing parents. we had a super cold day, but momma did not want to risk waiting and have that little one decide to come before our session. so she stuck it out, and i think both of us had numb fingers by the time we wrapped up! brrr!

happy friday!!! isn’t it gorgeous here in ohio?? i, for one, will be enjoying every single bit of this day until that sun dips below the horizon this evening.

this girl was a dream to photograph, such a natural in front of the camera! we have been trying to get this session scheduled for months, between the weather, her cheerleading schedule, and a cheerleading injury – well, we just had to put it off a few times. but finally, last weekend all the planets lined up for us! her mom & dad joined us and were awesome helpers too. even when i tossed my sunglasses off somewhere in a sea of trees and was a little bummed when i couldn’t find them…dad located them just as i was about to give it up and move on. thanks terry!! you guys were all wonderful to work with, and yes i was able to stay awake for ALL the fights later that night!! my eyes were awful heavy but i made it til the end lol! ok, on to miss gorgeous…

so this little man has the most amazing hair, charming little personality, and absolutely fabulous parents! quality people i am so happy to have met. actually he’s got some pretty wonderful grandparents too. they opened up their home to us, and were so helpful the entire session – namely carrying things and getting that busy 3 month old to look my way here and there. thanks to you both!

isn’t he just the cutest thing EVER?? such a super sweet baby, he rolled along with the session like a pro. lasted much longer than most babies his age. mom and dad were so laid back, totally in love with one another – and completely head over heals for their sweet boy.

love, love, love this family – the happiness was just oozing out of them and i adore being around people like that!

i spent a lovely evening with this adorable munchkin a few weeks ago. he is amazing, has the best baby hair ever, and is abundantly loved. you’ll see.

first i should apologize for being such a terrible, horrible blogger. not a single post since march 1?? yikes, i am hanging my head in shame…

life is busy, right? i guess we all know about that though don’t we? getting back on track with a share from a senior session a few weeks back. this guy wanted to keep things simple, like most senior guys do. we had snow on the ground and a chill in the air, but a very nice day no less. he is a pitcher for our varsity baseball team, a varsity golfer, super nice, very handsome, and has killer blue eyes! aren’t they amazing??!

Yes, we did this maternity session on Friday and her new bundle of sweetness arrived today! How amazing is that?! Especially when you scroll down to see that she was trekking through snow drifts for part of her session! She is full of life, energy, and absolutely glowing with anticipation. Oh and talk about anticipation, Mr. C here{aka big bro} is SO excited. He adores his momma’s growing belly and is already totally in love with his baby sister. Precious!

This is a ginormous share, because it was just too hard to narrow down my favorites! And once again I had an absolute blast in the snow. I already knew how much I love my job, but it solidifies it when I don’t even notice the cold until the session is completely over and I am walking to my car.

Then we ventured out to play in the snow!

Once little man got too cold, he sat in the warm car eating his apple dippers and belting out Taylor Swift tunes. Awesome. Wish I would have taken a photo of him.

Do you see how deep the snow had gone up on her jeans? The one on the right above is so fun to me, we were both just cracking up because we didn’t realize how sloped that spot was and she just sank right down to her knees. Love that about her, just laughing and enjoying every moment. Momma and I had informed that baby multiple times of her need to stay in the oven until after Friday, I’m really happy that she listened. And I’m really, really happy that they are holding her now.
