this beauty is my little cousin!! a looooong way from home visiting grandma & grandpa, and i was lucky enough to photograph her while she is here!
i love one on one shoots, because i get to focus on capturing the details and various expressions of that one beautiful face…LOVE IT!!!
for this one i told her to not look sad, just serious…and yes, she totally gets it – hello perfect model!
love the expression, the wind swept hair…so dramatic…swoon!

i could photograph her all day long!!
i asked her if she liked to smile and show her teeth, her reply…”yeah but daddy says not to smile too big and make it cheesy!” – i said, “well i totally agree with your daddy!!”

to her mommy, daddy, grandma, and grandpa – thanks so much for the opportunity to photograph your little princess…it was my pleasure!
i don’t think i can express just how much i adore photographing seniors?! it is such a special time in a teenager’s life, getting ready to take on the future and leave high school behind. so young, full of potential, not to mention seriously photogenic…i mean look at this girl! she is beautiful yes, but after spending a few hours with her i found she is not only gorgeous but smart, funny, kind, polite, and certainly has a bright future ahead of her! i absolutely loved this session, as i do pretty much every session lol, but this one was extra happy for me because i finally got to use a spot i have been scoping out for weeks, the turquoise garage door! it was PERFECT for her!!!

she is just a breath of fresh air! great smile, great hair, great personality…GREAT GIRL!!
teeny, tiny brand new ones…

and silly, fun, rambunctious ones…

yep, been spending lots of time with cute boys lately!
thanks for stopping by my blog! leave me a comment, i love comments!
i find myself saying why isn’t spring weather here yet, and at the same time asking how in the world is it almost april??!! the calendar is filling up and i’m excited to get back outside and shoot!!
i’ve been doing some more indoor work, added some studio lighting to my home office so that is now an option for newborns and kids’ portraits, if you so desire. thanks to my clumsiness, i recently fell down the stairs resulting in a badly sprained ankle…which has caused my schedule to go haywire lol! things are getting rescheduled and taken care of now, since i can get out and about with my cute supportive boot.
thank goodness because there are places to go and people to photograph!
just a few cuties i’ve spent some time with recently…
beautiful miss bryn, who has been in front of my lens many times since she was just two weeks old

twin princesses, mia & gabi(do not even ask me to determine which is which lol!!)

darling miss lizzy

houdini himself, aka precious little jackson…i’ll explain the houdini reference later, but i bet you can figure it out!

and most recently, this mega cute high school senior…kyle(who toughed out his session in 30 degree weather – brrrr!)

thanks for visiting my blog, leave me a comment…i love comments
